These plans are designed to help cover the out-of-pocket expenses not covered by your health insurance as well as paycheck protection if you can’t work because of an injury or illness.
Participation in these benefit plans is voluntary.
Benefits of these plans include:

• The convenience of premium payment through payroll deduction
• The ability to take coverage with you if you change jobs or retire
• The ability to provide coverage for you and your family, with most products
Listed below are the plans for which you can apply. These cash benefits are paid directly to you unless you specify otherwise.
You have the option to purchase critical illness insurance, which provides a fixed, lump-sum benefit upon the diagnosis of a serious illness like heart attack, stroke, or cancer. Benefits are paid directly to you and may be used for any reason from deductibles and prescriptions to travel expenses, childcare or other everyday expenses. Benefit amounts in increments of $5,000 up to $30,000 for Employee, Spouse and Child coverage is also available.
A $50 health screening benefit is payable once per calendar year for each insured person who has a health screening.
In order for your spouse and/or children to be eligible for coverage, you must elect coverage for yourself.
Child coverage is automatic – no separate premium

You have the option to purchase accident insurance, which helps to protect your finances after an on or off-the-job accident. You are paid a lump sum if you have a covered injury and can use the money to help pay out-of-pocket medical costs or everyday expenses.

You have the option to purchase hospital indemnity insurance, which pays a lump sum benefit in the event of a hospital admission and confinement. This type of coverage is helpful because it covers your out-of-pocket expenses not covered by your medical plan.
